Eucalyptus Herbal Tea
Found in the Western Cape and Gauteng regions of South Africa, the leaves are known to contain flavonoids and tannins that provide both antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. The Eucalyptus tree is native to Australia, commonly known as Blue Gum.
Eucalyptus tea is commonly used as an inhalant to relieve symptoms of common cold or flu. Inhaling the vapor assists with congested airways. Eucalyptus leaves are rich in Limonene which is antiviral.
Use on teaspoon of loose tea per cup. Add freshly boiled water, allow to brew for 3 minutes. If inhaling, breathe in Eucalyptus vapours while tea is steeping.
The tea is excellent for colds and fly symptoms, bronchitis and asthma.
